I’ve been looking forward to this one

I heard Dancin’ Boy around the same time my oldest child was 2 and I really liked it. Flowers Are Red I heard before that, I think it’s on Greatest Stories and I heard that when I was a kid. I always liked that song. I think I have also heard Poor Damned Fool, I Wonder What Would Happen to This World and Why Do Little Girls, however I don’t know the songs.

Dancin’ Boy is what I expected and a hit for nostalgia.

If You Want to Feel seems to be about trying to convince someone to allow themself to be vulnerable to feel better. A very strong dance beat.

Poor Damned Fool. I heard this while listening to a Chapin concert recently. He commented that it’s a true story and was played right before I Wanna Learn A Love Song.

I Wonder What Would Happen to This World I think the message of this song is just as meaningful today as it was 46 years ago.

Jenny is a song that I suspect that he wrote for his daughter.

It Seems You Only Love Me When It Rains is a really long name for a song.

Why Do Little Girls? Yes, I’ve heard this one before and I like it. It’s amazing today that there are people wanting to reverse women’s liberation.

Flowers Are Red I haven’t heard the studio version of this song much. The synth flute at the end is interesting.

Somebody Said sounds unlike anything else from the album.

Honestly this isn’t a great album. It’s got a few songs I really like and a few I could care less about.
