The anticipation…

I have no idea who recommended this or how it ended up on my list. It looks like it will be psychedelic based on the titles and cover art. So psyche 90’s rock?

Drum Trip

I think this could be considered Jungle. It’s a percussive beat. I think this is an introduction song. They said the sign title, the album title, the band name, and looks like the band members names. Very airy open vocals but the drums are just grooving almost ritualistically.

Ecstasy

Almost reminds me of Gogol Bordello. It’s a rejection of the global war economy.

Send Me On My Way

I’ve heard this before, I’ve no idea where I have heard it before. I also have no idea what it’s about. It just seems happy to be living life and having encountered people for the joy of meeting new folks. The song seems to quite literally have worlds made up because of the neat sounds they make together.

Cruel Sun

Much less happy. It’s a prayer for an end of war. I think I may have heard this one in my youth. It’s another groove. I do like the flutes.

Cat Turned Blue

The drum intro sounds very 90’s. The bass is really funky in this one. Even reading the lyrics I couldn’t follow this one. The guy has an amazing way to make his voice change so dramatically.

Beautiful People

A heartfelt song about loss, specifically someone who died due to addiction and suicide it would appear, possibly dedicated to a specific person.

Martyr

Verging on a song I would think from a caribbean island. The bridge is wild! Song seems to be about a person who lost everything in a flood. They are begging for help. They feel that society has kept them down and they are asking when they will be treated as an equal.

Rain

Fingerpicking and a harmonica. A western dance song. I think that’s a banjo solo in the middle of it. Quite a different song compared to anything else on the album.

Food and Creative Love

Sounds a lot more bluesy. It sounds like a cry out for freedom from an oppressor.

Lost In A Crowd

Another song that sounds like it’s begging for help and equality from society.

Laugh As The Sun

A song that is celebrating spending time with someone you love.

Infinite Tamboura

I think this is a meditative piece.

Back To The Earth

I think this is a great way to end the album, it’s a happy come down groove

Unintelligible chanting

I highly enjoyed that. It was fun. A lot of hand drums and chanting and grooves.
