Disco is back!

I started listening to this yesterday but I couldn’t hear it well in the car. I know Foster The People as the band that wrote a song that highlights our disconnect between what lyrics say and how folks feel about the song.

I hadn’t listened to any of the leading singles for this album and didn’t realize it was a band I knew about when I picked it. I thought the cover was interesting. The music is too. While listening there were several times I was reminded of Daft Punk. This is music made to dance to and I think it serves it’s purpose well. I haven’t done any lyrical analysis at this point. If I end up listening more I will probably study the lyrics.
