Mid 2000’s British rock band? Okay. I need an epic soundtrack for making dinner for the kids.
Dinner has been made
That was accomplished. I wasn’t overly fond of the album. The music is good but the weird lyrical delivery I don’t quite have an ear for. I didn’t enjoy the musical selection overall. I did listen to a few other songs by them after the album. It sounds dated. The production quality and style feel old and lackluster and don’t pull the nostalgia strings I think they were trying to tug on. The only band I can think has a similar sound that I’ve heard recently would be The Last Dinner Party, but I would much prefer to listen to The Last Dinner Party.
