While looking for an album today
I am greeted with the following suggestions by YouTube Music.
Like any sane person I look at 5 suggestions that I am fairly confident I will like and rolled a 10 sided die to see which of the albums would get the nod. As you can see the result was Lawn Boy by Phish. I’ve listened to some Phish live stuff and I know I’ve heard Bouncing Around The Room but none of the other tracks on the album jump out at me.
The Squirming Coil
I haven’t heard this one before. It’s a bit of a slow burn but is good.
Reba
This is the first song that I recall hearing live. If I ever get a chance to put this on a jukebox…
My Sweet One
A folky song.
Split Open and Melt
A lot funkier sounding that the previous song. Psyche and weird and really good. It tells about a person dealing with depression.
The Oh Kee Pah Ceremony
A jazzy piano and guitar duet with a side of madness.
Bathtub Gin
I’ve heard a live version of this song. I preferred the live version, this gets weird.
Run Like an Antelope
Run. I think I’ve heard a live version of this one too.
Lawn Boy
A song about the smell of cut grass.
Bouncing Around the Room
Yes I am not sure I’ve heard a live version of this and perhaps the studio version before. I am confident that a great deal of this album is about experiences on psychedelic drugs.

I suspect any of the other 4 albums would have also been fun.
