I am in a position where my work laptop is not working.

So it’s nearly 9 AM and I am listening to an album released in 1973 that sounds like the band took heavy inspiration from 60’s folky psyche.

Currently on She Keeps Me High and there is a change in tone. It doesn’t sound like mimicry, rather they added some additional textures and the song is more funky than the previous songs were. As much as I like 60’s psyche it’s not the only type music I want to listen to and I am glad this does branch out some.

I really like the song Motor Job. It’s an instrumental and just jams.

It’s annoying to be distracted from listening to an album because you have to send texts about work, but I guess I am listening on work time. I do feel like the first couple songs on the album give a bit of a false impression as to what to expect and the deeper the album gets you get a nice groove.

I did know the title track. It also is unlike the rest of the album.
