The changes the band has had is interesting 

I am impressed with the growth and change by the band with each album. From a pop centric outfit for the debut the discography melts into psychedelia. I also think Grace Slick was an amazing improvement over Signe Anderson, I am aware that the change was made Surrealistic Pillow, but I am just really appreciating it now with considering how much Slick brings to the band.
