A trip to the mountains
Over the last 2 days
A lot of riding around on mountain roads has happened.
I had earlier in the year purchased some physical CDs to listen to in the event of a trip where I may not have signal.
No long reviews. But here is what I’ve listened to.
Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets Live at the Roundhouse: Neat live album, lots of early Floyd.
Three Dog Night - The Complete Hit Singles - Some good, some not so much, I refuse to believe these were “hit” singles and not just singles.
Grateful Dead’s Greatest Hits - A collection of studio recordings from many albums, easily one of the weirdest ways to experience the Dead.
David Gilmour and Orb - Metallic Sphere in Color - Some EDM elements and some sounds that are either guitars or whale’s having a conversation.
Richard Wright - Wet Dream - Surprised about the amount of sax in this one.
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon - Because I didn’t have anything specifically by Roger Waters, and didn’t want to listen to The Wall.
Psychedelic Porn Crumpets - Highly Visceral B Sides - More like Tame Impala than I had anticipated it would be.
