Today was different
My friend had recommended this to me a while ago when I was listening to Strawberry Alarm Clock and The Zombies. This is very similar to that and I appreciate it. I did have a pretty different listening experience. I had listened to the first 11 songs on the album and came to a point in my day in which I was about to have a MRI completed and the radiology tech asked if I wanted to listen to anything specific, I asked for The Beach Boys and she delivered! As the machine was blasting heavy industrial beats were pumping my back with radiation the cheap headphones started to crackle God Only Knows. While I didn’t recognize all the songs that played I also heard Wouldn’t It Be Nice and the start of Time of the Season by The Zombies. I tried to recreate the experience for my children and would like you to also be able to recreate the auditory sensation. In just 4 simple steps.
You will need two devices that are about equal in loudness.
Put one at 20% max volume playing Sloop John B, because I really like that one.
On the other device set to approximately the highest volume you feel comfortable playing it at and place it between you and the other device playing Head Like a Hole, but just the drum machine parts, no vocals. youtube.com/watch?v=6FQCBROokk4

Like I said, great experience for the acoustic explorer, wouldn’t recommend however if the need arises thumbs up.
As far as the album goes I now have 3 more playlists I have wanted to start listening to that have songs from this album on it that I’ve not listened to because I knew I was going to listen. I enjoyed and have listened to the album twice now without MRI accompaniment.
