This isn’t the first time I’ve heard this album

When this album first came out I listened to it at the recommendation of a friend, he loved it. He also loved Tom Waits. I listened to this and I didn’t love it. I also have not found an ear for Tom Waits.

Better the 5th(?) time?

I had a really long day at work and then cooking. I listened to this album 3 times over the course of the day, twice while working and once while cooking. I can say that this made for decent background listening any time I tried to listen to see if I liked anything, and nothing really stood out. I think that most of the music is technical and impressive. It just doesn't click for me.
