None

Songs I think could have been singles:

Ae Dil Hai Muskil Title Track - I was told this was big in India

Other artists this reminds me of:

None

Notes on the music:

There is a mix between Western pop music feel and Indian styles (forgive me I don’t know Indian music)

Notes on individual Songs

Bulleya - This song (and the reprise) are probably the most interesting to me musically. There is a swing beat with a calypso feel.

The Breakup Song - Another song that takes inspiration from Western pop music, this is probably the easiest thing to listen to on the album with American ears.

Cutiepie - It's a poppy dance song, catchy and all.

Alizeh - There is a weird voiceover rap thing in the last third. The song almost sounds like American gospel music.

Aaj Jane Ki Zid Na Karo - Trap beat to start off the song is cool. The vocals are pretty but the meaning is lost on me. I appreciate the layers of voices and different effects for spoken word vs sang portions.
