The devolution of sound

I don’t think I will purposefully listen to a discography in reverse again, at least for a while. It’s weird hearing this band slowly go back to a much more flamenco style compared to what they have released on their more recent albums. It is neat hearing the experimentation and knowing where it goes (sort of). I was listening to this album in my car when I picked up my daughter from band practice so she got to experience a bit of it with me. I believe the song was Savitri she said sounds like something she would hear on SpongeBob. I believe Atman is the first I recall hearing electric guitar on any of these albums.
